Data Manager

Azeezah Sultana Priyota is a Data Manager at Building Transparency, where she supports the quality, consistency, and accessibility of Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) data in the EC3 tool. She joined the team in 2025 after completing her Master of Science in Architecture with a specialization in Design Technology at the University of Washington.

During her graduate research, Azeezah developed the first draft Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for concrete in Bangladesh and proposed a national roadmap for scaling life cycle assessment (LCA) adoption. Her work was grounded in field research, including visits to ready-mix concrete plants in Dhaka, collaboration with local manufacturers, and addressing data and verification challenges common in low-resource contexts. She also contributed to research at the Carbon Leadership Forum and the Life Cycle Lab, focusing on material taxonomy, hybrid Scope 3 carbon accounting, and whole-building LCA methods. Her academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to climate-resilient design and decarbonization of the built environment.
