Operations Manager

Chad Evans is the Operations Manager at Building Transparency, where he oversees the systems, processes, and organizational infrastructure that keep the nonprofit’s tools and programs running effectively. With a background spanning operations management, vendor management, and security compliance, Chad brings rigor and structure to Building Transparency’s mission of making embodied carbon data open and accessible. At BT, his work spans partnership management and financial operations alongside the day-to-day functions that keep the organization moving.

Before joining Building Transparency, Chad worked with the Carbon Leadership Forum and earlier spent several years in the tech industry in business operations, vendor management, and security compliance roles. He also worked at Distributed Energy Management, a startup consultancy focused on sustainable energy and finance initiatives for businesses. He holds an MBA in Sustainable Business from Presidio Graduate School.
